Due to crew availability we will not be able to complete one
blue-lid (recycling) round and one black
(refuse) round on Thursday 26 June. View affected streets
Due to the heat health alert, bin collections may take place earlier
than usual from Friday 20 June to Friday 4 July. This is to allow
crews to complete their rounds before the hottest part of the day.
Please have bins ready for collection from 6am.

Play Area (Apple Grove Play Area)
Informal Recreation
Description
Rugby Borough Council has looked after the site since 1992.
This small open space, 2.44 acres (0.9 hectares), which also incorporates a play area, is found right on the edge of the urban area of the Borough. It is actually situated on the outskirts of Bilton, although nowadays Bilton has become incorporated into the ever-expanding town of Rugby.
Bounded by the Henry Hinde Junior School on one side and farmer's fields on the other, this small three acre site is a quiet and attractive place to relax.
Despite what its name would suggest, most of the trees at Apple Grove are actually oak. Other nearby sites maintained by the Council are Frobisher Road Play Area, Cornwallis Road Recreation Ground and Freemantle Road Recreation Ground.
Dogs must be put on a lead when directed. A Public Space Protection Order applies.
